The 2016 conference will address the most important current challenge of the robotics industry: widespread adoption. Throughout the two-day event, esteemed speakers will present in the areas of:
Keynote speaker James Kuffner will open RoboBusiness. Formerly of Google, Kuffner is Chief Technology Officer at Toyota Research Institute and Adjunct Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute.
The RoboBusiness expo is also home to over 125 exhibitors and hundreds of robotics products, offering a truly unique opportunity to experience the robot revolution. Back by popular demand, Pitchfire will take place on the first day of RoboBusiness. New to RoboBusiness this year is the Chief Robotics Officer (CRO) Network Summit. This half-day program kicks off RoboBusiness on September 27. The CRO Network Summit is an executive meeting designed to promote idea sharing and networking between current and aspiring “CROs” facing similar challenges. The aim is to better prepare these professionals for robotics technology management while presenting a vision about where the Chief Robotics Officer role is headed.
“The robotics industry is at such a crucial point in its growth process. It’s really important that business and robotics leaders come together at RoboBusiness to invest, adopt and continue to create value within the robotics industry,” says Casey Nobile, Robotics Trends Media Manager. “Ultimately, this sort-of ‘meeting of the minds’ will be what propels robotics into widespread adoption.”
